Troop 221

Celebrating 38 Years in Plano, Texas

Summer Camp

Part of the Troop 221 Summer Camp Tradition is to go outside of Texas.  Our rationale is that we visit the Circle 10 camps during the year for various district, council or troop events.  When it comes time for Summer Camp and it's 100+ here, we're going somewhere else.  We charter a bus, work in a side trip (like Royal Gorge, CO) and make a real adventure out of it.

A significant part of the transportation costs are subsidized by the troop.  That subsidy is funded by our annual Troop Garage Sale.  100% of the funds raised go to the troop for this purpose.
