In October, Troop 221 went to Palo Duro State Park. Click the image to see the whole gallery.
We stayed at the Kwahadi Indian Museum in Amarillo. Saturday morning, we rode over to Palo Duro and hiked the Lighthouse Trail. After we reached the Lighthouse formation, we enjoyed a Philmont-Style trail lunch.
On the way home from Palo Duro, we stopped by Cadillac Ranch and added to the loads of spray paint that were already on the old cards. If there was a graffiti merit badge, several boys would've earned it.
After heading back to the Kiva and getting cleaned up, we took the Big Texan limos over to the steakhouse for dinner. Several considered taking the Big Texan 72 oz challenge, but thankfully no one attempted it.
It was an outstanding trip full of adventure.
