In November, Troop 221 went to a private ranch for shooting sports. Click the image to see the whole gallery.
This is traditionally our largest and most exciting campout (for obvious reasons) and this year was true to form. This year, we added a barbeque meal on Saturday night. Mr. Green took his smoker out and put together an outstanding meal for us: chicken, sausage and brisket. During Roses, Buds & Thorns the next morning, someone asked if he could accompany us on every campout...
The boys were able to shoot .22 rifles and shotguns. We also put a 2 mile orienteering course together for the first year scouts.
Saturday evening, the boys retired several American Flags and then we enjoyed our typical Dade Ranch "campfire". A fire so large that it could be seen from space.
We are so grateful to the Dade's for providing us a place each year to do what we do.
